Mansfield, TX Maternity Photographer | Vanessa’s Maternity Session

When this beauty reached out to me about wanting a Maternity session, she mentioned that this was her first baby and she was 37 weeks, so she knew that it might be too late to schedule, but she didn’t want to miss on the opportunity. I immediately thought of all of my previous ‘newborn’ clients who have felt the same way and regretted tremendously not having taken the chance to capture their most special time in their life! So, I said to her, let’s do it. I will be specially careful as you are nearing baby’s due date, so breaks will be important as well as keeping you off your feet when we can.

We scheduled her session date and time and she arrived promptly. She came prepared with hubby and brought a few special items she wanted incorporated in her session. She made it through her makeup session here in studio and then eight, yes, eight outfit changes! I guided her through the poses, helped her get changed when needed and finished her session in a total of 2 hours. We included her husband in the session and at the end, I took some time to photograph those special belongings. To see the look on her face at the end of the session, the face of “thank God I did this” was the best reward for me.

Her ordering appointment came, I prepared them and then shared my screen so they could see their gallery. The moment she said, “omg I’m getting so emotional!” was it for me. Tears welling up in her eyes and all I could think about was “and you were thinking it was too late for you!” she looked absolutely stunning.

They are so happy with their gallery and I am just as much about being able to provide my client with her dream session! I can’t wait to meet their sweet baby soon!
