Mansfield, TX Maternity Photographer | Jocelyn’s Session

Pregnancy has different effects on women’s bodies, we all know that. Sometimes it makes us glow and radiate and sometimes it just beats us up. One thing is for sure, every mama-to-be wants to look their best during this time! So when Jocelyn reached out to me about her maternity session, we talked about her expectations and the vision she had. She told me she had previously had a session done, during her first pregnancy, however her photographer was no longer available. She needed to find someone she could trust and someone who understood her and really brought out her best side!

Jocelyn wanted a goddess-style session. She wanted the fluffy gowns and the tossed fabrics and of course, she wanted dad to be included too! Ultimately she wanted to feel beautiful. The session day came and we began with the blue gown. I gave Jocelyn some tips on how to achieve great poses and make it easy and comfortable for her. I eventually brought dad in for the poses too and guided them both. They are really a great couple to be around! We laughed and had so much fun during their session.

During the reveal appointment, they liked their photos so much that they had a really hard time choosing! They even ordered a large canvas print of one of their photos, that’s how much they liked them. I was so happy they did because I believe that when you invest in a photographer, your photos should be everything you dreamed of and you should want to display them everywhere in your house!
