Mansfield, TX Newborn Photographer | Carolina’s Newborn & Sibling Session

Carolina reached out to me in a pinch, needing a newborn session for her days old baby and she wanted to incorporate her older baby too. Since newborn sessions are best suitable for baby’s first 10 days, we had to find a way to fit her in the schedule right away. Thankfully, I had a last minute reschedule and I was able to get her and her family in!

Prior to the session day, when I asked if there was anything I needed to be aware of, she let me know that baby had a broken clavicle. Not to worry, I explained to her that the session would still take place, I would only alter baby’s poses throughout prioritizing his safety in order to avoid touching and moving his arm. From there, we picked colors, props and she shared with me some inspiration images from my website that she’d been looking forward to recreating. She also told me her family is big on Soccer and her oldest plays the sport, so she wanted to incorporate that into the session as well. I was ecstatic!

The session day came and we were ready to go! Carolina and her family got settled into the seating area in the studio and I began working with baby Zyel. He slept the entire time. Comfortable and safe, he was unbothered as I moved him into different sets. Carolina teared up as I posed him and she watched her baby boy looking so cute in the different wraps and hats we used for the session! She made me emotional too, I love giving my clients these memories!

I was so happy to be able to do this for Carolina. Watching her and dad’s face as they watched their babies get their first photos together, is everything. Big brother was a trooper too, he sat still and followed directions perfectly as I posed him with his baby brother. Seeing their bond, is an indescribable feeling.

I’ll forever consider myself blessed to provide tangible memories for my clients. These moments where we can freeze time for them and deliver their vision come to life.
