We all remember the glamour portraits from the 90s that our moms would take us to get done at the mall, right? What about the ones where we posed as a family? It’s safe to say when we look back at them we cringe a little. So much so that it recently became a trend to recreate. But at the same time, those photos, cringy or not, captured our families. They froze time on our parents, some of them back then, were our age now. The only way we are able to look back on those is because we have at least one photo print of that session. I personally have one of those too. It was Christmas time, I’m about 4 years old, sitting on my mother’s lap and hugging her. Little did I know that photo would be one of maybe 10 photos of myself between the ages of 3-8 years old. My parents took photos but most of the time, never had them developed. The films got lost between moves and I maybe have about 1-2 photos per year of age.

Getting a photo shoot has gotten so much easier now. There are many photographers out there that will provide you with a session and digitals. Well, that’s about the same thing as having those little brown rolls you would have to develop at your nearest photo center. It’s not very practical if you have to do all that plus take care of your family, doctors appointments, work… it’s a lot! So I wanted to make it easier for my clients. When you book a session with me, all that is on you is to schedule and I take care of the rest. I will offer you mock ups of what your prints, frames and/or albums will look like and you just have to pick what you want. That’s easy! You get so much more than a session and digitals because I want you to have these tangible memories and I want to take the load off of you so you have more time for the things that matter to you.

Wether it’s your baby’s newborn stage that goes by so fast! And not because time moves differently but because as a parent, this stage will consume you in ways you won’t expect and by the time you realize it, it’s gone. Or it’s your maternity stage, which seems long but changes so quickly, and doesn’t come back around. You’ve heard it, “every pregnancy is different” you will look and feel different each time. Or if your baby is hitting a milestone because each one of them matters!
